Getting Started
If you are concerned about your use of tobacco and ready to move towards setting a quit date you are invited to come to a Getting Started session. Topics include: physical and psychological dependence, cravings, withdrawal, stages of change, slips and relapses, and nicotine replacement therapies. The session will also provide and opportunity to design and develop a quit plan.
You will receive:
- a QuitPack full of helpful resources
- A workbook to help you develop your quit plan
At the Getting Started Session you will also receive an overview of the tobacco cessation options within the QuitPath program offered by Health Promotion to help smokers become tobacco-free.

May 16th - 6:30 – 8:30 pm - Wednesday
May 31st - 6:30 – 8:30 pm - Thursday
June 13th - 6:30 – 8:30 pm - Wednesday
All the above sessions will be held at 305 Jarvis Street
